OL Play, Injury Updates and More From Morgan Scalley's Presser
- Ahead of Iowa State, Morgan Scalley said Utah will keep rotating at guard while settling on its starting five over the next couple of weeks. Keith Olson is fully healthy and handled his first live opportunity well; Scalley also praised Roger Alderman and Toa Moea'i, without announcing a final lineup.
- Scalley attributed Utah's second-half offensive slowdown against Utah State to execution problems, including penalties, drops, missed run-fit identifications and perimeter blocking. He said those details need improvement rather than announcing a new offensive system.
- Scalley said Utah will continue showing aggressive two-point looks to punish poor defensive alignment and force opponents to spend preparation time on varied formations. He said the attempts are practiced beforehand, while acknowledging the latest attempt did not work.
