Washington State kept offensive rotation to a minimum in Apple Cup
- Washington State receiver Daniel Blood played 57 of 58 offensive snaps against Washington, while Tony Freeman's injury left his future availability uncertain and Jordan Dees did not enter even after Freeman went down.
- Washington State leaned heavily on Pedersen with only three healthy tight ends available, leaving Baker and Cash Landau as the other options in an injury-thinned position group.
- Safety Kyle Peterson and cornerback CJ Solis-Lumar did not play for Washington State even after Tucker exited injured, underscoring the limited secondary rotation without establishing either reserve's availability status.
- The report identified Wedel as Washington State's fifth defensive tackle and praised his college debut, which produced the team's highest listed defensive PFF grade at 69.9.
- Washington State gave Hung 17 more defensive snaps than Nylan Brown while Keith Brown played most of the game, a distribution the author noted differed from the anticipated hierarchy and was partly position-dependent.
